Experienced
in the treatment of drug and alcohol abuse since 1989 and in
management for 10 years prior to that, Lori Johnson is the driving
force behind the success of Amicus House. By being involved
in overseeing individual treatment personally, she is able
to maintain the high level of quality that has established Amicus
House as one of Northern California’s premiere treatment
facilities.
Richard
and Lori Johnson founded Amicus House, Inc in 1998 after owning and directing
Moriah, Inc. an alcohol and drug treatment program, which was comprised
of 7 facilities founded by them in 1989. Richard Johnson began his career
in the field in 1977 and was an innovator in the area of rehabilitation
and the creation of alternatives to incarceration of alcoholics and drug
offenders.

He became known and respected in the community for his accomplishments
and the many people who feel they owe their lives to him. After Richard’s
passing in 2001, Lori has continued their dream of providing the highest
level of treatment at an affordable cost.
A respected member of the community, Lori Johnson has proven her commitment
to helping others. In addition to directing operations at the primary
treatment facility, she supervises a network of certified transition houses.
Over the years, Lori has established herself as an authority in the field
of addiction and recovery. As Executive Director of Amicus House, she
has continued to uphold her personal values while maintaining a facility
dedicated to helping those in need. |
